Buzzing, whooshing or ringing in ears cause bafflement to some people who have not been aware that this sensation is regarded as tinnitus, and that it is a symptom anyone can have if they have an underlying disease.

Nonetheless, much controversy has been given to tinnitus as something psychological and not physical. With this claim, there are recent studies done that the sound is actually produced because there is a current alteration in the auditory process. This may be noise-induced, stress-induced or sinusitis-induced. In spite some allegations, the effect of tinnitus to some people could never be senseless. Some sufferers just lose focus and become really desperate in finding relief.
